His debut release on Nurvous and personal favorite of 2020 was extremely well received on both Beatport and Traxsource, coming in at no. 1 on Beatport's Best New House playlist and no. 8 on Traxsource's Weekend Weapons chart for that week's releases. The single features live keys, sax, guitar and an upfront MPC style kick, which come together to create a fun, uplifting groove to keep the crowd going. As put by Nervous Records, "with a special affinity for New York 90's House, Tōnis bridges the gap between the current uptempo and beat-driven house groove of now with the stripped-down and melodic vibes of that golden era of house!"
Released on Fizzikx's imprint in September of 2020, this single, featuring a funky synth bass line, chopped guitar, and some ad-libs quickly garnered a following upon being added to Beatport's Best New House playlist. Many of Tōnis's personal influences, such as Soledrifter, Criss Korey, Martin Depp, and Marc Cotterell supported the release on Traxsource which was subsequently added to Cotterell's Soulful Garage House Compilation on Plastik People.
His second, and self-proclaimed breakout release is 3-track EP "Broken Record" released on Martin Depp's Smashing Trax. A pure groover, the title track which features a repetitive yet catchy chord progression, deep bass, and filtered sax is one of the best selling tracks on the label to this day. No vocal needed.
